Jason
2008, Oil paint
This portrait of Jason shows his disability and his strength. Marysville bushfires nearly killed him and his parents, they just made it out, but Jason's wheelchair was lost.
It's taken its toll, but Jason is like me an artist, I paint with brushes, he paints with his pointer and computer. He is not left in a room , his future is with computers where he can paint, surf the world net and keep in touch with friends.
He is also as artist's model as seen here. He may do things differently, but he is an amazing young man looking forward to the future.
