There can be many challenges facing people with a disability who require support to achieve sexual well-being. This forum explores:

  • How people with a disability percieve their own sexual needs and barriers to meeting their individual needs
  • The impact of sexual needs on relationships with services and support workers
  • How sexual needs are currently being supported within the disability service system
  • Other supports and resources

Forum details

  • When: 1pm - 4pm, 18 April, 2012
  • Where: Darebin Arts & Entertainment Centre, Preston
  • Cost: $55 full, $11 concession (inclusive of GST)

Who should attend

This forum will be of interest to people with disabilities, their supporters, disability support workers, managers of community services and others interested in sexuality and disability issues.

  • George Taleporus - Dr. Taleporus has a doctorate in Psychology and degree in Sociology. He is an advocate working in youth disability and a freelance consultant in disability awareness.
